Pantiliners and pads in one box make the perfect first period kit. There’s something for every day – liners for “just in case” days and pads for serious protection, both designed for younger girls. Both products feature vibrant new patterns and colors full of tween attitude. U by Kotex Tween* Liners are only available in the Combo Pack.
Introducing new pads with heavy flow absorbency in a smaller size than our regular pads, for younger girls. U by Kotex Tween* pads come in vibrant colors and patterns, have a special cover to ensure they stay dry, plus an absorbent core to lock fluid away and help prevent leaks.
The pad is extra absorbant and absorbs just like a heavy pad. The absorption is fast and keeps you feeling dry and comfortable.
Despite its heavy absorption, I wouldn’t recommend this for overnight wear because it’s too short and you wouldn’t get enough protection in the back. For overnight wear, you may want to try their U By Kotex CleanWear Heavy Flow pads instead.
The pantiliner has medium absorbency making it perfect for everyday wear for vaginal discharge, spotting, or as a tampon back up. The absorption is fast and feels dry afterwards.
The liner is tween sized, so for bigger girls this may not cover your entire panty. You may want to choose for their regular size liners instead.
This pad is flexible but I might be a bit too big for this pad because I found the pad a bit too small which made the pad crease a lot. (I have never experienced any creasing with regular sized U By Kotex pads.) Creasing is when a pad forms to the shape of your body and creates wells and pockets where your period accumulates.
Like the rest of the CleanWear pads, this pad has cottony soft side barriers but the actual pad cover itself is not cottony soft, it’s more plastic like. Only the sides are cottony soft.
Overall I felt very dry and clean when using this pad. The breathability is great and the adhesive is excellent. I would have loved to use these pads when I had my first period.
The pantiliner is very flexible and always bounced back into shape. The cover is breathable and soft and barely noticeable when worn. I feel clean and dry when I wear this even after all day wear.
Pads & Pantiliners
U By Kotex Tween liners and pads are about 1-2 cm smaller than the regular sizes (which is actually a pretty big difference) so I recommend wearing these with smaller sized panties. So far I have found that all the adhesive on U By Kotex products to be excellent. It sticks super well and sometimes I have to pry it off my panties.
In this U By Kotex Tween Combo period kit, you’ll find a little period book that covers all the basics of having your period including how to put on your pad, how to count your period cycle, and more.
Just like the box, the pads and liners are super colorful too. The pads even have instructions to show and teach you how to properly put on and wear the pad.
