o.b. Pro Comfort Silk Touch Tampons Review

o.b. Pro Comfort Tampons

Try o.b.® PRO COMFORT® Regular tampons with Fluid-Lock® grooves for locked-in leak protection. The only one with SilkTouch™ cover for ultimate comfort and protection.
Absorbency
When period is absorbed, the tampon expands evenly in all directions even during a slow flow (which usually doesn’t happen for me). You can feel the expansion when you remove the tampon. It just feels like a tight custom fit!

The SilkTouch cover doesn’t affect the absorbency. The tampons also have Fluid-Lock grooves which are the slanted grooves you see in the pictures. They’re meant to guide your period to the core and away from the sides for to lock your period in the centre.

Comfort
If you had trouble with the original, you might want to give this one a try. The first time I tried the original o.b. tampon I had a really hard time inserting it and I wasted 3 or 4 before I successfully got one in. The o.b. original tampon felt like it was creating too much friction to glide in smoothly and painlessly. With the SilkTouch smooth cover, it glided in effortlessly, no pain! The tampon is super slim too so you barely feel it.

The SilkTouch cover is a very thin silk like veil that covers the outside of the tampon. You’ll barely notice it as it looks just like the original but it really makes the insertion process much easier!

Packaging
Many women love the o.b. tampons because the packaging is so minimal. It is small and discreet AND it’s super quiet too! No loud crinkly wrappers!

It’s small size makes it easy to just throw a couple in your bag or even the whole box! It’s super easy to hide in your hand too so you don’t have to bring your whole bag or purse into the washroom with you.

I have used these tampons and they are great because of how small they are and no applicator, the downside is that they are hard to insert sometimes! Wish they had made them a bit easier to use!

  2. Is tampons safe…..does it will create problem in pregnancy

    • Hi Jeena,

Yes tampons are safe if you follow the instructions. You won’t need to use tampons if you are pregnant.. so I don’t really understand yoru question…

  4. I am trying to use these exact tampons for the first time but I am having problems inserting it. I would appreciate it if anyone could guide me in this.

  5. My country sells a “mini” version of these tampons… 16 pack, 1cm in diamater, 5cm in length. Expands to about 2cm in diameter.
Today is my first day trying them out… First day trying tampons out actually… Just put one in. I was worrying so much about whether it’d go in or not that I didn’t even realise that it’d already gone in. I was like “WAIT WHAT” and poked around a bit more when I realised I couldn’t feel the tampon inside me which meant that it was in the right place.
So tampon placement is a definite 6/5… Not too worried about the absorbency because of this review. Was the removal painful? I’m on a light flow and the mini is supposed to hold 6g and below…

  6. Hello! I can not find the expiration date. Do they have an exp date?
