In September, I took a short trip to Tokyo, Japan to explore the incredible city. I went to some of their most popular drug stores to see their period aisles.
Pads seemed to be the more popular option in Japan. I didn’t see many tampons but later on in my trip, I found a few boxes on a bottom shelf.
Here is part 1 of 2 from my adventure! See part 2 here.
In some drug stores, they were sold in bulk. These ones were sold in groups of 3.
Pads are located next to the diapers (see right side).
In this drugstore, the pads are right next to the beauty section.
Can you read Japanese? What does the packaging say?
